The work nobody sees
Every morning, this view reminds me of something.

Every building I see from this window depends on technology.
- Banks.
- Hospitals.
- Retail.
- Telecommunications.
- Transportation.
Almost every business below relies on systems running somewhere.
Most people never think about them.
Until something stops working.
As engineers, our best work is often invisible.
When systems are reliable…
Customers don’t notice.
Businesses keep moving.
People simply get on with their day.
That’s one of the reasons I enjoy working in Site Reliability Engineering.
Success isn’t measured by how many incidents you solve.
It’s measured by how many people never realize there was a problem in the first place.
Sometimes the biggest impact is the work nobody ever sees.
What’s one “invisible” part of your job that most people never think about?
